the finished outcome and healing time

Your lips will be fully healed within 6-8 weeks. You will experience swelling and tenderness within  the first week. flaking and peeling is perfectly normal within a week or two and once surface healing is complete colour will appear lighter. (But don't worry, it will bounce back bolder)

Around four weeks into healing, the colour will bloom back and will then be fully healed and ready for a touch up.

Lip blush

Lip Blush is designed to enhance not only the natural colour of your lips, but enhancing the shape and symmetry of your lips.
Unlike traditional lip tattooing, which could look flat or overly bold, Lip blush focusses on soft transparency.

Think "Your lips but healthier, brighter and more even."

The pigment is applied to the upper layers of the skin to restore lost colour, neutralize uneven or cool-toned lips, and improve symmetry. Defining the lip boarder subtly without any harsh lines and creating the illusion of much fuller lips without filler.

What the procedure entails.

1. Consultation & Color Selection

During your consultation, we will assess:

  • Your natural lip tone

  • Undertones (cool, warm, neutral)

  • Desired result (barely-there tint vs. more saturated color)

  • Skin type and lifestyle factors

Pigments are custom-mixed to complement your complexion. The goal is enhancement, not lipstick permanence.

2. Lip Mapping & Shape Design

The lips are carefully mapped to:

  • Improve symmetry

  • Correct uneven borders

  • Maintain a natural cupid’s bow

We work within the natural lip line, subtly perfecting it rather than dramatically over-lining.

3. Numbing

A topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort. Additional numbing is often layered throughout the procedure. Sensation varies but it is commonly described as light scratching or vibration rather than pain.

4. Pigment Implantation

Pigment is implanted with controlled, gentle passes. The artist builds color gradually in layers to ensure softness and even distribution.
